Huffer CCR&R offers one-on-one technical assistance (TA) to child care providers or programs that is customized to meet the needs of the provider/program and addresses specific issues.
The Paths to QUALITY Coach will assist the child care provider in the implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan. Provide individual and/or group consultation, Identify resources and supportive services for program participants.
Infant Toddler Specialist can provide observations and feedback to assist you in providing the best care for your infants and toddlers. The IT Specialist can conduct trainings and workshops to meet individual needs of your program and assist with establishment of relationship based practices. The IT Specialist can provide you with information for families in your program, including where families can attend workshops and trainings.
The Inclusion Specialist at Huffer Child Care Resource and Referral can assist you in providing the best care for children with special needs. The Inclusion Specialist can conduct trainings and workshops to meet individual needs of your program. CLIMBS is a project designed to assist child care providers to increase the social and emotional appropriateness of their program using research-driven and proven tools from CSEFEL.
Debbie Collins can assist child care providers in the area of social and emotional wellness, she uses research-driven tools from CSEFEL. Activities included in TA are:
- pre/post assessment for the social and emotional appropriateness of the child care setting
- development of an on-site technical assistance plan to be carried out by the child care staff and Inclusion Specialist
- individualized training for staff
