Are you interested in opening your own child care? Providers in Indiana have several different options when opening a child care:
- Licensed Home Provider: A provider offering care in their home may be licensed for up to 12 children. To start this process you will want to begin with Orientation I please contact Huffer Child Care Resource and Referral at 1-800-554-9331 or email@example.com to register. Orientation I is also available online, visit www.iaccrr.org to register (OT-I must be completed before attendance to OT-II). Orientation II is once a month, please contact Huffer Child Care Resource and Referral to register.
- Licensed Child Care Center: Orientation 1 can be scheduled by contacting Huffer Child Care Resource and Referral or firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 1-800-554-9331 (OT-I must be completed before attendance at OT-II.) OT-1 is also available online, visit www.iaccrr.org to register. Orientation II is held the first Wednesday of each month and can be scheduled by completing the form at this link. - Unlicensed Registered Ministry: Orientation I and II is strongly encouraged. If you have questions about unlicensed registered ministry orientation, please call 317-233-5413 or email Center.Licensing@fssa.in.gov
- Unlicensed CCDF provider: As an unlicensed provider in Indiana you may provide care for up to 5 unrelated children and receive CCDF payments by completing the Provider Eligibility Standards (PES).
